5-7 minute rule (no I’m not talking about sex)

If I find someone interesting I do whatever I can do meet them. If there’s one thing in this world I’m confident in it’s my ability to successfully start a conversation with ANYBODY. I used to make a joke that I could get Larry David’s writing partner on the phone (true story) but I can’t get my own mom to answer my texts.

Anyways…

Whenever I ask for someone’s time I only ask for 5-7 minutes. This way it lets them know I respect their time while also giving them a micro dose of my personality.

I’ve learned more from these 5-7 minute conversations than I learned when I was in school from kindergarten to 10th grade.
